The region's top university board intends to keep a closed entrance conversation Aug. 16 on condition Superintendent of Knowledge David White's contract, authorities said Thursday.
The conversation, which was included to the condition Board of Primary and Additional Education's plan declared Weekend, may be the level of speaks on White's upcoming.
While BESE members could take a elect on the superintendent's contract after the professional period, no such count is organized now.
White, who is paid $275,000 per year, has been working on a month-to-month contract for the past 18 months.
Backers do not have enough ballots to increase the contract, and experts do not have the support to fire him.

Edmonston, who resides in Gonzales, said the board has been careless in not dealing with the issue, and she said her elements do not generally back White-colored.
But Edmonston and others crucial of White's period have said any move to get rid of him would likely don't succeed, possibly on a 7-4 elect.
White has said he intends to stay in the job as long as BESE wants him to do so.
BESE places guidelines for about 700,000 community university learners state-wide.
The superintendent is in charge of undertaking those guidelines.
White is already set to endure his yearly assessment in professional period on Aug. 16.
He has won positive opinions in his four past job assessments.

BESE Chief executive Grettle Jackson, who resides in Alexandria, said Thursday he has not seen any changes in White's status with BESE.
"From my viewpoint it looks like everything is pretty much as it has been," Jackson said.
Edmonston could not be achieved for opinion.
White, who has been superintendent since 2012, is considered an friend of those who benefit major changes in education, such as coupons, rental educational institutions and instructor opinions.
He has often clashed with conventional community university categories, such as Louisiana's two instructor labor unions and the La School Forums Organization.
